Yesterday we decided to pack up the Cardigan crew and kidlet, to save out allergy-ridden sinuses from the grass pollen and spent a couple hours at the beach. The above photo tells all- Roy Rogers LOVES the coast, and says he wants to be a full-time beach bum when he grows up!

Aunty Kay took this photo of Roy during a quick meetup for fast food burgers last week. Gosh, I think he’s handsome! I’m still pinching myself :)

A few weeks ago an avid geocacher, and (amazing!) artist friend invited us on a hike to Horse Rock in the mid-Willamette valley about 40 miles from our place. We took Galaxy and Spark, plus Lisa brought her dogs Tilly, and Quentin, and the two dogs she was sitting, Radar, and Lilly. LOTS [...]

For days the adult dogs held their ground against Puppy-Roy… no one played with him! Sparkles is still scared of him (”It has NEEDLE teeth, and is OUT TO GEEET ME!”), but yesterday Galaxy took the plunge, and started playing with poor, lonely Roy. Now, they really have not stopped!
