In winter ‘07 I made this photo pendant design, and waited to see how well they’d hold up, before actually making them available for sale. I’ve been stewing over the next contest, and thought to myself “HEY! These would be a good idea!” All these pendants kept by myself, or given as holiday gifts have held up beautifully, with no visible wear!
These pendants are a clay base, silver wire bail, with the photograph applied with a liquid glaze and baked securly on. Some people at the nationals noticed, and commented on the Galaxy pendant (In the middle), and expressed interest in their own photo pendant(s). If you’re interested in buying one of these pendants, the cost is $15 (Including shipping)
Send me your favorite photo by e-mail (emily at dreameyce.com), or comment here with a LINK to the photo (online), which you would like to have made into a pendant. If you have a color or design preference, let me know, otherwise I’d just follow my artist gut in choosing the color and design if you are the winner.
This contest is open to any photos. They will be judged by my 4 year old daughter, Deandra. She has a good taste in photos, and I trust her to remain unbiased! If there are more than 20 entries, I’ll offer more than one pendant prize.
Contestant photos will be posted on the blog (With credit given to the submitter) before judging, so everyone can enjoy the fun, and see the entries. Only one photo entry per person. Please only send photos copyrighted to yourself- no professional photographs you don’t own full rights to. Contest ends Tuesday the 16th, so you have plenty of time to choose, and send in your photo!

This is my sweet little gentleman. He is a Siamese Dumbo Rat named Despereaux. He is named after the brave little mouse from the books and movie. He got his name because he is brave and good hearted. He loves to give everyone kisses. And I mean everyone! He is brave because he even kisses the cats, grooms their fur and plays with them. While most rats are scared of cats, all he wants is to be friends with them. He also looks much like the mouse Despereaux. He is the same color with a pink nose and big round ears!
